To accelerate sustainable business change so that we can help deliver a better future for the next generation and thereafter.
Sharing our expertise to accelerate progress and strengthen the internal capabilities of the organisations we work with.
Gary is a sustainability professional with more than 30 years experience successfully delivering business change.
As a passionate Chartered Engineer, his early career included managing complex systems-led business change, where the primary business benefit was economic. In the late-2000s, while managing a large transport optimisation programme, he realised the outcome was not just a massive cost-saving, it was also good for health and safety, and the environment.
For the last 12 years his career has been sustainability-focused, applying integrated thinking to business change. This has included, integrating environmental and social performance into business planning and monthly management reporting; developing measurement systems and science-based targets; producing Sustainability Reports assured to international standards; and developing a Sustainable Funding Strategy.
Gary has also led Executive Development courses at Victoria University of Wellington, been a guest lecturer at Massey University, and a member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) - Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Fishing Working Group (2020-2022).
Gary’s strong communication skills allow him to engage effectively from the Boardroom to the shop floor, bringing insight and pragmatic challenge.
